How USARateHub actually works
USARateHub is a loan request and lead-generation service. We are not a lender. We connect people who want to request a short-term or small-dollar loan with the lenders and lending partners in our network - and every lending decision is made by a lender, not by us.
This page walks a request through the machine: what you hand us, where it goes, who decides, and who pays out. The short version is that we carry your request to lenders; a lender does everything after that.
The request, step by step
You submit a request
One short form asks for the amount you want to request, your ZIP code and your contact details; the lender’s portion asks for income, employment and bank routing information. Everything travels over TLS encryption.
Three consent boxes sit above the button - the TCPA consent for marketing and account-servicing contact, the credit authorization and the E-Consent acknowledgement. All three start unchecked; nothing is opted into for you.
We carry it to the network
Your request is routed to one or more participating lenders or lending partners for their consideration. We do not approve or deny anything, and we do not present every lender in the market.
Lenders pay us when we connect them with consumers, and that compensation can influence which lenders see your request and in what order. The full mechanics are in our Advertising Disclosure.
A lender decides
If a lender is interested, you are connected to review their offer. You are under no obligation to accept it.
Accept, and the lender provides the Truth in Lending Act disclosure - the APR, the fees, the repayment terms. Read it carefully, and weigh it against any other offer you hold and against alternatives such as credit-union small-dollar loans or employer hardship programs.
The lender funds the loan
If a lender approves your request and you accept the offer, that lender deposits the funds directly into the bank account you gave on the form.
Funding timing is set by the lender and your bank. We do not deposit funds and we do not control when they arrive.
What we never do
The service has hard edges, and they are worth knowing before you use it.
- We do not lend money.
- We do not approve or deny loan requests.
- We do not set interest rates, fees, repayment terms or funding times.
- We do not claim that any presented lender offers the best rate or terms available.
Where the service is available
The service is not available to residents of New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Vermont, Maryland, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Arkansas or Arizona. State availability is subject to change.
Start here
When you are ready, the loan request form is one short page, and the four steps above are everything that happens after it. If you would rather read a market before entering one, our rankings pages put live offers side by side on the same yardstick - the mortgage rankings are a good example of how we lay a field out.
