USARateHub

Questions, answered

Straight answers about how USARateHub works: who can use it, what a request does and does not do, and what happens to your information. When you are ready, the request form lives on our personal loans page.

How the service works

Is USARateHub a lender?

No. USARateHub is a loan request and rate-comparison service. When you submit a request, we pass it to one or more lenders in our network, and each of those lenders decides on its own whether to offer you credit and on what terms. We do not make credit decisions and we do not set the terms of any loan.

Who can use the service?

You need to be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama and Nebraska), a legal resident of the United States, and living in a state where the service operates. The current state availability list is published in our Lending Policy.

What happens after I submit a request?

You fill in the request form on our personal loans page and the data travels over an encrypted TLS connection. We forward it to one or more lenders or lending partners in our network. If a lender wants to work with you, you are connected to review that lender’s offer, with no obligation to accept it. If you do accept, the lender itself sends the deposit; timing depends on the lender and your bank.

Will every request receive an offer?

No. Sending a request to the network does not mean a lender will respond with an offer, and USARateHub cannot promise any particular outcome. Each lender applies its own underwriting rules and makes its own decision.

How much can I request?

Lenders in our network consider request amounts between $100 and $5,000. What any one lender is willing to offer depends on its own underwriting criteria, your state of residence and applicable state law. USARateHub does not set loan amounts and cannot promise any specific offer.

How would I receive the money?

If you accept a lender’s offer, that lender deposits the funds directly into the bank account you listed on the form. Funding can take one or more business days; the schedule sits with the lender and your bank, not with USARateHub.

Cost, credit and privacy

What rates and fees should I expect?

USARateHub does not price loans. Representative ranges and worked examples are published on our Rates and Fees page, and your specific rate and fees appear in the Truth in Lending Act disclosure the lender must show you before you accept any offer.

Does a request affect my credit score?

The initial matching step may use a soft inquiry, which does not change your score. If you go on to accept a loan offer, the lender may run a hard inquiry, which can affect your score. Which type of inquiry is used is determined by each lender.

How is my personal information protected?

Form data is transmitted over Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption. How we use, share and retain your information is set out in our Privacy Policy, and California residents have additional rights described in our California Privacy Notice.

How do I opt out of marketing or data sharing?

For marketing email and SMS, use our Unsubscribe page, reply STOP to any text message, or use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send. To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, use our Do Not Sell or Share page; we also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal.
